Join us in this Syracuse tour and discover this beautiful white town!”

Founded in the 8th century b. C. by the Greeks, Syracuse had to become one of the most powerful towns of the mediterranean sea together with Athens. We will visit the archaeological park called Neapolis with the ancient Greek theatre, the Roman amphitheatre, the Altar of Ieron II and the limestone quarries. In the baroque centre of the quarter Ortigia the cathedral, the fountain Arethusa and the Apollon temple.

Take advantage of your stop in Sicily to see as much as possible in one day, at your own pace.

Can we be picked up from another location to get to Taormina?
We can provide a private transportation with driver for single travelers and large groups from anywhere, such as the harbour of Messina, Catania, Giardini Naxos or any accommodation in this area, to take you to Taormina.
What about if we already have our own rental car?
The guide can sit in your vehicle to explain during the trip. Consider a seat available for this.

I recently (May 2017) visited Sicily and contacted Chiara Rozzi to arrange a tour of Siracusa and Noto. I was completed satisfied with our transportation arrangement and planned activities for the day. She is highly knowledgeable about the archeological (Archeological Park )and historical sites(Siracusa, Ortiega and Noto) we visited, all the while keeping it light and entertaining. Often others passing by us commented that she sounded like the best guide they heard in their travels. She even went to far as to demonstrate an echo in an ancient cave by singing Italian songs deep in the cave, which prompted others to join in. It sounded like a choral group! It was great!! She also chose a wonderful trattoria in Siracusa to share lunch with us. Please give Chiara a shout if you want an enjoyable and educational adventure. (source: tripadvisor.com)

Unparalleled tour of Mt. Aetna, Taormina, Syracusa, and environs

My girlfriend and I came to Sicily on a whim since several friends said they enjoyed it here. We did not plan very much as time was short. We found Chiara and basically asked her to create an itinerary for us and make it fun and meaningful. First of all, it must be said that this is one of the most delightful people that we met in Sicily. Secondly, Chiara is a virtual encyclopedia of facts, information, cultural nuances, and ideas. She completely fulfilled our needs and we came away feeling that we truly were enriched by the experience. Not only was she prompt and flexible, agreeing to meet us conveniently for us, but energetically educated us and regaled us with stories and historical anecdotes, both ancient and modern. A special person for a day tour

We had a wonderful day tour to Catania and Syracuse with Chiara. She is knowledgeable, not only about the major tour sites (what it is, historical background, etc) but everything else around the east coast, if not all of, Sicily. This makes her tour more interesting and exciting. She talks about people, what is going on in Sicily, and what she thinks of the current events. She is a dynamic but personable guide who you can really enjoy being with. After less than half an hour, my wife and I felt very at ease with her and felt that she is one of our good friends, instead of a tour guide. But if you are the type of tourists who just keep taking pictures but not really interested in historical background of many treasures around these towns or in current political climate and the future of Italy, she is not for you.
