The Etna, is the largest and highest still active volcano in Europe. According to the last measurements, the Etna showed an altitude of 11,000 feet a.s.l., but its altitude changes at each new important eruption. A panoramic drive will take you to 6,400 feet a.s.l. passing through a green countryside with citrus groves and vineyards, forests and two little towns. In the bars you can find the typical liquors and they also let you watch a video about the last eruptions. If you have time and interest and the weather conditions allow it, you can take the cable car to go up to 2650 meters.
